  3. Thank you for that Q&A session it answered some of the questions I had. After watching it, I'm cautiously optimistic. If you are doing an Early Access I may be with those who will go in to help a bit and try to give constructive feedback. I must admit I'm a little wary when you talked about unlocking content (weapons or gadget I suppose) IMHO it's not a good as I find it limits the tactical range for the player. I can conceive it may be easier for a new player but it limits the options for a second playthrough or the more experience players. If the missions are avaible outside the storyline and with all the bells and whistles that point is not as big of a problem but becomes more of a an annoyance.
  4. Ooooh nice artwork Well that was unexpected to see you guys try to make another tac shooter after Takedown. I'm a Solo Player when it comes to tac shooters so I guess the first and most important question is : Will this game be MP centric again ? Will you try and take the time necessary to make it SP ? To continue about the game What game is the inspiration or model before iteration for the game ?What is "the range" of fighting in the game (not sure of the term, sorry) ? CQB ? or a more open space and at longer range ? Now more on the technical and dev side On which platform do you plan to release ?How much time do you think this project will need to be fully developed ? How much time can you give it ?I know it's too early now but do you any idea on the tech you will use ? The questions that follow are here because of how Takedown released. They are direct but I'd like to see an answer. I know that kickstarting is like any investments, you gamble money on promises, so you can not like what comes and still consider it a succes or you can loose it all. I know you talked about this on the post-mortem of Takedown but what can you say to those who were disappointed of the result after backing the game ?Some of the gaming press did not take Takedown seriously. What are you willing to do to convince them Epsilon will not end like Takedown ?2014 taught me not to buy in early access, not to pre order, not to buy day 1, and to avoid ambitious crowd-funding campaigns. Knowing that Takedown almost failed it's kickstarter and that a lot of people got burned by the practices of greedy devs during the last years. How do you plan to finance the game ? Good luck guys, it's good to see you are taking risks and moving on. For now I'm on the fence, let's see where this goes for a bit.
  5. Just wondering, what would anyone need to do a mod (add and alter friendly AI routines and modify the UI) like that ? I guess the UDK and Takedown and a lot of docs about AI scripting and pathfinding in the Unreal Engine 3 and of course time.
  6. I'm a SP player so a MP only tac shooter have no interest to me. My friends don't play that kind of games and I don't do public games when I want to play something built around teamwork (that's why I don't play MOBAs). So i'll wait for more content with the slight hope that one day a deeper SP will be implemented. I'll call it a SP game when I can give orders (even simple ones as a "go there" or "clear the room") to the team of AI players. I don't regret kickstarting the game even if I'm disappointed it's a MP only game. I just hope the fumbled launch did not kill definitely the genre for a while. Good luck guys, you have my thanks no matter what. You took risks by trying to make a tac shooter in this ocean of CS:GO and CoD.
